I am glad you
decided to stop by. Now I'll share a
little bit about myself - my world - and who lives in it!
My name is Tricket, I am
Irish and French Indian. My
father's family is Irish and my mother's
family is French/Cherokee from the hills
of Eastern Kentucky. On my
mother's side I am linked to Pocahontas,
she is my tenth great grandmother, so I
guess there's a little
Powhatan
Indian
and English in there too!
Throughout my life, I have journeyed
through many different paths and
different beliefs...
never once staying too long, it just
never felt right.
As I continue my studies and
practice of the Craft.... I know why.
I do not consider myself Wiccan... my faith is
based on
Witchcraft traditions
using
magick and lore of many earth based religions, rather than just one.
I follow no particular path....
I just am!
The spirituality
of the Native American Indian has always
held a special place in my heart.
No other religion so
elegantly portrays the sacredness of
nature as those of the Native American.
Since
I was a child, I have always felt
enlightened and special because of
certain things that I have always known,
didn't understand, but knew!
Thoughts and feelings that I have never
been able to explain. I call it
the "Sense". My mother possesses
this "Sense". It is from her, we
are kindred spirits. I am the
oldest of six children, we are very
close and are all connected spiritually.
It has always amazed us how we know when
each other is having strong feelings of
sorrow or happiness. I am quite
certain Goddess smiles upon
us.
Grandpa, my mother's father called me "Tricket".
He never called me by my birth name,
only Tricket. This name has always
been my special name...
my nickname and the one I use on the net
and throughout my site.
As I
continue with my studies
and practice of the Craft, I know
that my life will only be enhanced
beyond my greatest expectations.
A
doorway of awareness, acceptance and
knowing...the greatest journey of my
life.
