Just A Friend Sharing...

Recommended Books and Information for Teens

So many teens have asked me for information on where to begin and how to become a Witch, so I decided to create a special page just for them.

To all young seekers....

I believe the most important place to start is within yourself... the center of your being.  What I mean is.... begin to learn about who you are and what you are really interested in.  Are you interested in the spirituality and faith of Witchcraft or is it because you want to learn how to cast spells.  This is an important question to ask of yourself.  Seeking Witchcraft for spells is not a good reason... and most Witches will tell you so.

I must say to you, I do NOT give out spells.  I know other websites and Witches do... and that is fine... each to their own.  Myself, I feel spell work is personal and should not be given out to just anyone.  As you seek and study, you will learn all that you need to know to create your own magick.

As you visit and surf through my website, you will find an abundance of information on Wicca, Witchcraft and Paganism in general.  I feel this is a good place for you to find out if you are truly interested.  And that you realize being a Witch, studying and practicing the "Craft" is a life long commitment and it doesn't happen over night.

  READ... RESEARCH... READ

Do your own research, study history and other religions and how they all inter-relate and interact. And of course, ask questions.  Talk with your parents.  If you are under 18, please understand that it is against the law for any adult to teach you a religious belief without the consent of your parents.  I know... talking to your parents is not so easy sometimes, but it really is important to be honest and open about your feelings.  Honesty is a very important virtue, without it... you cannot be real with yourself!

Do not take one persons word or teachings as the only truth and only wayNo one person has all the answers.  By studying and researching, you will find what feels right for you in your own heart and soul.

I also know that sometimes it's hard to buy books when you are a teen and if that is the case for you, then perhaps you should visit some of the links that I have provided below.  These links will take you to some really awesome website's that have great information and advice for teens on what you can do and should do.

But if you are able to buy books, I have listed a few good ones that you can purchase through this site.  All you have to do is click on the picture of the book and it will take you to Amazon.com to buy the book through a secure checkout.  If not, that's okay.... there are other ways.  A true Seeker will find ways.... you are here aren't you!

I hope this information has been helpful to you.

May Goddess guide you on your path.

Peace, Love & Light

Witchcraft: Theory and Practice

by Le De Angeles

I have read a lot of books on Wicca and Witchcraft and in my opinion, this is by far one of the best books I have ever read. I like how it is more geared to Witchcraft than Wicca and it goes into depth about finding individual freedom within your own spiritual path.  It is more of a hands on teaching experience.  The information is not so repetitive as many Wicca books tend to be.
